Isn't it strange that weekend is not quite the same at the moment for many of us, I hope you have had fun trying to build towers and we have a different challenge for this coming week.
We would like you to build a den, this is something that the children love in nursery and they will build a den out of anything, but a great starting point in the house is a table and blankets. It looks like the weather is going to pick up on Sunday so dens in the garden are a good option. Please email in some photos it would be great to share your fun.
We are going to look at an online meeting opportunity in the coming weeks so the children can see each other and have a catch up, we know lots of them are missing each other so it would be nice to link them together for a bit of fun.
We also thought it would be nice to have a sunflower growing competition. We did this a couple of years ago and it was lots of fun but at that time we were able to do the initial planting in the nursery. If you can get hold of some seeds (lots of the supermarkets have them) and plant them that would be great and we will hopefully all be back together when they have grown into giants. We are going to get the staff to have a go also. It would be lovely if we can gather some fantastic pictures of everyone with a sunflower to make a great display back at nursery. For our older children you could keep a diary of photos to show from planting to flowering.
Lets see if we can grow some beautiful flowers like these.
